Sea World

Getting our sun block on for the day.

My two penguins

In the shark reef

The end of the new Blue Horizon dolphin show, it was so good.

Dad and Makay (he's so tired)

I think this is Baby Shamu

After the Shamu show

Climbing in the "shipwreck"

Logan in the "jumping place"

We were in Elmo land right when elmo and Grover showed up so we were second in line to see them.

Dave won this dolphin by making 3 baskets, good job babe!

Enjoying cotton candy at the Sea Lion show

After the Sea Lion show

After two days of parks Makay had enough, so cute.

Logan showing his Shamu fin, well kind of.

It was a packed day, full of shows, playing, rides, lots of walking and animal seeing. It was a lot of fun to see the boys reaction to the animals, and spending time as a family. After we left Sea World we had dinner with our friends Gary and Bliss, it was fun to see them and sit down and eat.

The Beach

Two love birds at the beach

We of course had to build a sand castle

and then let the boys destroy it

Us girls stayed out of the water

Makay spent most of his time eating at first.

Dave and Logan were very brave and went in the water, even though it was pretty cold.

Someone was a little tired after the beach

Playing at Grandma's

Me, Kristina, Mom, and Grandma
(don't mind my funny face)

The camera battery died so I could only get these pictures downloaded so I guess the trip will be posted in phases. Here's phase one so stay toned for the rest of the trip

Happy Birthday Davey!

Today is Dave 32 birthday! It's a little crazy to think that he is now officially in his 30's, and it's also kind of nice. Well as you expected here is a tribute to the love of my life. Thanks for being one of the best things that has ever happen to me in my life, and for being such a great and undertnading husband, partner, and BEST friend. As if that wasn't enough thanks for being such an amazing father, our boys are lucky to have you as their dad. Thank you for setting a good example for them as a worthy priesthood holder in our home, they couldn't have a better dad. Well before this gets anymore sappy, I Love you so much, and am so glad that we are on this journey together.

Flashback

In a couple of weeks we are heading to California to go to the beach, Disneyland, and Sea World. I am so excited and I can't believe it's already been two years since we were there last. I took a trip down memory lane and enjoyed some pictures of the last time we were there. Logan was 2 1/2 and Makay was almost 6 months. Wow, they sure grow up fast.

It was so hot that day, as you can tell by the sweat on Logan's forehead
For beingso young Makay did so good that day, he loves being out in big crowds and didn't fuss at all. We'll see if we have as much luck this time around.

We all look so different

Logan and Aunt Kristina, I'm so excited for the beach, I just hope it's fairly warm since the weather has been so weird everywhere.

We added and extra day at Sea World this time because Dave has never been, and we thought the boys would really enjoy it. Along with all the fun parks and beach day, some of my old friends from the singles ward are having a BBQ and little reunion so I'm really excited about that. Hopefully there will be no hiccups and the trip will be wonderful.

A New Job for DK

Yesterday we found out that Dave got offered a new job with Zions Bank. He is getting out of the retail side of banking and moving downtown to the executive side. He is going to be part of the marketing department for Zions. Some of what he will be doing is responding to peoples questions and/or comments on Zions facebook page along with many other things. He is really excited to start this new adventure and to try a different side of the banking world. I am so excited for him to continue to grow in his career and experience something new.

I am of course so thankful to the Lord for this wonderful opportunity, for my amazing husband to take on new challenges, and provide a great life for the boys and I. I am so thankful for the opportunity I have to be a mother and to teach my children so they can grow up and become responsible, caring, hard-working men. I am thankful for my good health, great friends and great family. We have truly been blessed.
