Christmas 2011

Every year we go to dinner with Dave's parents and then Grandpa comes back to our house to read the boys the night before Christmas. It is a great tradition that we really enjoy.

Once Grandma and grandpa left the boys were so excited to open their two presents that night they immediately started wrestling.

Every Christmas Eve the boys open P.J.'s (pretty typical) and an ornament for something that they did or really liked that year. The kids really like seeing their ornaments on the tree.

Makay got a puzzle ornament because he LOVES and will spend hours putting them together.

Logan got a swimming ornament becuase he took swimming lessons and he can do cannonballs all on his own now.

Hunter got a ladder for his ornament because he climbs on everything!!!

The picture is blurry because Hunter was running out to the living room, I could barely get in front of him to take the picture.

We like to have the kids walk out youngest to oldest, it was so cute how excited they were

Logan got more transformers

Makay got a remote control bulldozer from Santa

Hunter had fun tearing open his presents, everyone else's and wondering around

The mess after the opening

My mom made this quilt for dave with all his old "hoop-it-up" t-shirts, it looks awesome and it was a huge surprise to him.

Dave finally got his t.v. on the day after Thanksgiving and we got a new camera so we kept things pretty low key for each other.

This was the best picture we could get of the boys after church, Hunter is not into to stopping to take pictures these days.

Other then the boys being so excited they could hardly stand it on Christmas Eve it was a great two days! The kids are at a really fun age of being happy with what they get and not having too expensive of wish list. We are going to enjoy that while it last. It was also really fun to see how excited Hunter was even though he really didn't know what was going on. Merry Christmas!!!
