A New Job for DK

Yesterday we found out that Dave got offered a new job with Zions Bank. He is getting out of the retail side of banking and moving downtown to the executive side. He is going to be part of the marketing department for Zions. Some of what he will be doing is responding to peoples questions and/or comments on Zions facebook page along with many other things. He is really excited to start this new adventure and to try a different side of the banking world. I am so excited for him to continue to grow in his career and experience something new.

I am of course so thankful to the Lord for this wonderful opportunity, for my amazing husband to take on new challenges, and provide a great life for the boys and I. I am so thankful for the opportunity I have to be a mother and to teach my children so they can grow up and become responsible, caring, hard-working men. I am thankful for my good health, great friends and great family. We have truly been blessed.

Baby # 3

Even though I convinced my self this next baby was a girl apparently I was wrong, so much for mother's intuition. Boy # 3 is on is way and I couldn't be more excited to add to our craziness. I thought I was going to be sad if this one wasn't a girl, but I'm totally fine. Clearly we like boys at our house so let's add one more.

Easter 2010

The finished product

Three boys dying eggs
Makay, Will and Logan

Makay found one egg and just wanted to get it open

Logan found the rest

On the Friday before Easter we had a little Easter party with our friends Kaci, Will and Ethan. It was a lot of fun for the boys to decorate cookies, chocolate marshmallow eggs, and dying eggs. Makay and Will (who are both two) mostly wanted to eat the frosting and dump all the sprinkles out, but that's o.k. It was still a lot of fun. Ethan is only a few weeks old so he didn't participate, but maybe next year.

Look what the Easter bunny brought?

Two cute boys
(sorry it's sideways)

Logan couldn't wait to eat the bunny cake

Or the jello eggs

Easter was a lot of fun this year, Logan was really excited about his bike and seeing what else the Easter bunny had brought him. Makay liked the bike after he found the two pieces of candy in his basket and tried to eat them first thing in the morning. It was also important for us to explain to Logan what Easter is really about, and that went o.k. He might not get the full concept yet, but we will go from there. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and may we always remember that the Lord gave his life so that we might live again.

What is that?

Makay walks into the room with something brown on his index finger...

I immediately grab his hand so he won't touch anything and I ask "what is that?" He doesn't reply.

I take a quick sniff in case it's chocolate...to my dismay, it's poop. Gross!

I guess that's hos way of telling me he needs a diaper change. I want to throw up just typing out the story.

He definitely keeps me on my toes.

The many faces of my little rascal...

Mr. Sneaky got his "b's" out of the drawer
