New Friends, Old Friends, I love all of you!

After catching up on my blog reading this morning I have been inspired by so many of them I felt like I should post something. I'm not sure where I'm going with this, so please bear with me. As most of you know about a year and a half ago we bought a house in North Salt Lake, it's a quaint little area, and the house is a fine size for now, but for some reason I kept having this feeling that I can't wait to move back to the center of the city. It's always hard to move to a new place, with unfamiliar surroundings, and getting to know new people and find your place in the ward. After almost two years I finally feel like I like it here. It' so sad that it has taken me this long, but better late then never right.

What has brought on this new change of heart has been that we have recently hung out with our neighbors, and played some games. Jill and I have had many play dates and lots of chatting, but we haven't been able to hang out altogether until recently. Dave and I love to hang out with friends, but some days you don't feel like driving somewhere, so to have friends that you can walk down the street to hang out with is awesome. Dave is also going to start playing racquetball with a friend in the ward, while his wife and I work out. I am so excited to build a friendship with our new neighbors, and have some close to home fun.

Now I don't want you old friends to feel like we are neglecting you. I love an old friend more then words can express. There is nothing like hanging out with someone that knows you so well, and that you can share anything with. Friends like that don't come a round everyday. There's so much history with new friends, that just saying one word makes you laugh so hard you are going to pee your pants. What was it men lactating? There are few things I enjoy more then sitting around talking with an old friend!

New or old I am so thankful for all the friends that are in my life! everyone of you have made an impact on me in some way, and I am grateful for the lessons I have learned and the laughs, tears, and stories that have been shared. I hope that we can all stay friends for a long time, and see what comes of our lives. If had one wish for friendship it would be that all my friends lived close enough to see on a regular basis.

I love you all!!!!!

NKOTB is Back!

Well I'm not sure how many of you know, but I was able to go to the New Kids on the Block concert when they were here in SLC. My brother and sister-in-law Andrea came to Utah for the concert and I went with her. Now not only did we see the concert from the 2nd row center, we got to meet and greet them before the show as well. It was totally awesome and a once in a lifetime experience, Andrea and I got lots of FACE TIME and a little booty grabbing and cheek kissing as well. I'm lovin' on Joey and Andrea is holdin' on to Donnie in the picture. So all those doubters better recognize that NKOTB is back to stay.
